“The World’s Oldest Mime”
The New Yorker

Named one of The New Yorker’s Best Videos of 2016!

Richmond Shepard is the world’s oldest mime (and the star of my narrative short, FORTISSIMO). This short docu I directed for The New Yorker asks what can be gleaned about the way in which we interact with each other every day — in ways that are so subtle and of which we are often not aware — from a man who has devoted his life to the art of nonverbal communication?
